From the producer of the hit comedy web series DRAMA QUEENZ comes SUBWAYS, a dark comedy about a disgruntled casting assistant named Caleb who is coping with the taboo feelings towards his half-brother and the tragic loss of a young friend to whom he made a special promise.
Unable to properly handle his feelings, he lashes out angrily towards the poor actors and colleagues who come in his path and heatedly hurls himself into his dreams of becoming a professional writer. But when a violent encounter with a coworker leaves him forever scarred, he plummets into a depression that only humor, truth, and fulfilling his promise to his departed friend can lift him out of.
Shot in Harlem with a cast of over 100 local actors and a soundtrack by award-winning LGBTQ indie artists, SUBWAYS is a poetic portrayal of the beautiful, ugly, messy complicated amalgam that is life.
